This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all digital credit purchases and enterprise processing plans on PhotoEditorAI.in. Our terms are framed in strict accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 issued by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India.
Because our services operate on a pay-as-you-go credit model rather than lock-in recurring subscriptions, you are never billed unexpectedly for recurring renewal periods.
Automatic Credit Restoration for AI Errors
We take responsibility for model performance. If an image generation or transformation fails due to any of the following technical conditions, the consumed credit is automatically re-added to your account balance:
- GPU Worker Timeout: Server-side latency exceeding inference thresholds or network socket drops.
- Catastrophic Neural Hallucination: Severe facial distortion, corrupted alpha matting outlines, or color inverted artifacts.
- File Serialization Errors: Inability to download the rendered high-resolution PNG/JPG asset from the browser darkroom canvas.
If our automated system failed to detect the defect, you can submit the generation ID via our contact form for manual credit restoration within 2 hours.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee for Unused Credits
If you purchased a credit pack (e.g. Creator 50 Credits Pack for ₹199 or Studio 200 Credits Pack for ₹499) and have not utilized the credits, you are entitled to a 100% monetary refund within seven (7) calendar days from the transaction timestamp.
Pro-Rata Refunds for Partially Used Packs
If you have consumed a small portion of a credit pack (less than 20% of the total balance) and encountered technical compatibility issues, we will calculate a fair pro-rata refund for the unconsumed credits.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Monetary refunds will not be issued in the following instances:
- Where all purchased credits have been fully consumed and images successfully downloaded.
- Requests submitted after the expiry of the 7-day refund window.
- Accounts terminated due to severe violations of our Safety & Prohibited Uses policy (e.g. generation of non-consensual deepfakes, CSAM, or identity forgery).
- Subjective dissatisfaction where the AI faithfully executed the prompt and user did not test on free trial first.
Refund Settlement Channels & Timelines
Once approved by our billing desk, refunds are automatically credited back to the original funding source via Razorpay:
Direct reversal to linked bank VPA.
Credited directly to Indian bank account.
Subject to card issuer clearing cycles.
